by Kyle Berks · 16 comments

When it comes to giving your personal information online, you want to make sure that you are dealing with a reputable company. Since there are so many payday loan websites online, how would you decipher from one site from another when it comes to safe guarding your personal information? This is why we have compiled a list of companies that are listed with the BBB, so you have someone on your side should a problem occur.

You will find below a list of companies we recommend to use when taking out a pay day loan. These direct online payday loan lenders only provide short-term cash advances and provide excellent customer service:

CashNetUSA – Fill out an application with CashNetUSA

  • The maximum amount varies from $100 to as high as $1,500, depending on the state.
  • Interest rates vary per state, with some offering $22.50 per $100 borrowed.

The application is simple, and can be filled out and submitted at any time. The site is guaranteed secure, and their user interface is easy to navigate. Once your application has been submitted, you can expect the decision within a matter of minutes. As soon as you accept the offer, it is guaranteed that the loan would be credited on the next business day, given that it was made before 5 PM. They also offer the Great Rate Guarantee feature which states that if you find a lower price with a similar online lenders, they will match that rate.

The downside is that though they provide information on how to get in touch with them, they do not offer live chat service. Nevertheless, CashNetUSA presents a satisfactory overall process, and remains somewhat less costly than other payday services. – Fill out an application with

  • The amount that an applicant can take out is restricted to $500 in some states, but can go up to as high as $1,500 in other states. This is also determined by the borrower’s income.
  • Costs depend on the state. May range from $20 for every $100 borrowed, to $25 for borrowed amounts of $250 to $300 plus 30% APR.

Their application form is easy to understand and fill out, and the website is organized. They also provide lots of information about the company on their site, ranging from various articles to full disclosure of fees. The online service also appears to utilize encryption methods that sufficiently safeguard personal information transferred over the web.

Unlike many others, provides many ways in which applicants can contact them, and post a list of states where they are licensed to operate. Not only do they have a FAQ page, but they also offer telephone, live chat, and email support.

Cash Central – Fill out an application with Cash Central

  • Depending on the state, a prospective applicant can loan up to $500.
  • Fees vary by state, but the average is $15-$20 per $100 borrowed.

The online site is not only secure, but user-friendly and very informative, with a number of articles that range from detailing how the loan can be processed, to useful information communicated via the FAQ page. Their application process is simple, and operates 24/7. They also provide various means of contacting them through live chat with a customer representatives, email, or telephone support. They also have a “refer a friend” program, wherein an existing customer can receive $20 if they can successfully refer a new customer to Cash Central.

Cash Central offers a satisfactory payday program with competitive fee rates, however, the downfall is that they do not offer their services in more states, and their loan limit is not exactly that high to begin with.

These direct lenders only originate loans in the following states:   * Alabama * Alaska * Arizona * Arkansas * California * Colorado * Delaware * Florida * Hawaii * Idaho * Illinois * Indiana * Iowa * Kansas * Kentucky * Louisiana * Michigan * Minnesota * Mississippi * Missouri * Montana * Nebraska * Nevada * New Hampshire * New Mexico * North Dakota * Ohio * Oklahoma * Oregon * Rhode Island * South Carolina * South Dakota * Tennessee * Texas * Utah * Virginia * Virgin Islands * Washington * Wisconsin * Wyoming

A member of the BBB is about as meaningful as a member of the Chamber of Commerce–if you can pay the membership fee every year, you’re in. If a formal complaint is lodged against you, you’re out. No homework, no due diligence, no background check, nothing until that complaint is lodged.

You may be correct on being a member is paid for and they don’t background check however they keep a log of complaints I have used it many times just to make sure of a company that old saying sounds to good to be true most likely is. Did on on a payday advance 34 complaints and it list the complaints so it may not be the best system but it stopped me from making a mistake more than once.

I got my cash advance! Now, I am going to take my fast cash and go to pay my electrical, so the lights don’t get turned off. Thank you so much for the great information!!

Just make sure you pay your cash advance back on time and you shouldn’t run into any problems.

Good information! If you plan to take out a payday loan, it always helps to do your research and find a reputable lender that will offer you the lowest rate you can find. Never take out more than you need, as the interest rates on these types of loans are high and you will need to pay it back as soon as your next paycheck.

I tried Think Cash (Now Plain Green)… They sent me a notice saying they neede d more info IE:
Copy of ID, SS Card, Proof of Income, etc. So I pulled my credit reports (which thier website states they do check by the way). All of the info that I gave them was on my credit header.. This made me suspicious about sending actual copies of that kind of documentation, which can be verified in many other ways… So I went to cashnet usa, approved 15 minutes later… So much for Plain Green AKA Think Cash.

It’s NOT a scam MARCY. I have actually received loans from two of the sources here.
PAYDAY ONE & CASH NET USA. About 15% per hundred dollars interest.

Thank you for this valuable resource. I filled out an application with Cash Net USA and was approved within minutes. It has been a lifesaver and now I am able to purchase a new tire for my automobile!

Has anyone ever heard of Peppercash, mass street group, or Advance me today? They charge RIDICULOUS fees as automatic withdrawals from checking accounts and I want to know if they are legal or not. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Brianna Jordan January 19, 2012 at 5:51 pm

I’ve tried to all of the lenders listed aboved, but keep getting declined because I live in Georgia. Do you know any lenders that have offices in GA?

Kyle Berks January 20, 2012 at 5:44 pm

Hi Brianna,

Unfortunately, payday loans are illegal in GA.

DREA April 4, 2012 at 1:53 am

Peppercash loans were very good approved for $300 with $89 processing fee you can always email customer service and they are very prompt in their reply. They are truly the best I have nothing but great things to say they will cancel your payment if needed and allow you to pick when you are able to pay off.

Redstonefastcash very quick to loan $200

these people approve a payday loan but what they don’t tell you they illeagally take an additional $29.95 out for some programs of coupons. This is not part of the payday loan and is taken out illeagally. They say it will be back in your account within 7 – 15 days .It has been 30 days now and now everytime we call they either hang up on us or put us on hold and never come back to take care of there customers.THE STATE ATTOURNEYS OFFICE NEEDS TO SHUT THE MASS STREET GROUP DOWN BECAUSE THEY TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT ON A MONTHLY BASIS WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.Someone needs to do something about this and now.I am sure there are other complaints as well as mine. And enough is enough.

Kayla August 6, 2012 at 12:16 am

The reason I am asking for a loan is because I am a single mom of three and need the money to pay for my utilites. My next pay check is completely gone because I have to pay my rent and will not get another paycheck for 2 weeks. Any amount will help me get through this month.
